Annadanam

Offer the Gift of Divine Nourishment

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna declares “annād bhavanti bhūtāni” — all beings are sustained by food. Through Annadana Seva, you help distribute sanctified prasadam to devotees, visitors, and the needy. Every morsel offered becomes spiritualized by the Lord’s mercy. By participating in this seva, you share the Lord’s compassion with countless souls and invite prosperity and peace into your own life.

Gau Seva

Serve and Protect the Mother of Dharma

The cow is revered as “Go Mata”, the mother who nourishes humanity and pleases Lord Krishna. Through Gau Seva, your contribution ensures daily feeding, medical care, and comfortable shelter for the cows of the temple goshala. Serving the cow pleases Goddess Lakshmi and invites auspiciousness into your home. As the scriptures declare, “Go-brahmana-hitaya cha” — Lord Krishna is eternally pleased by those who care for cows and devotees.

Vaisnava Bhojana Seva

Honor the Devotees of the Lord

Feeding the devotees of the Lord is one of the most sacred services. The Lord is most pleased when His servants are served with love. Through Vaisnava Bhojana Seva, you can offer prasadam meals to visiting devotees, brahmacharis, and spiritual guests of the temple. Such service purifies the heart, destroys sins, and attracts Krishna’s mercy — for the devotee is even more dear to Him than Himself.

Sri Narasimha Homa

Seva for Divine Protection and Purity

Invoke the powerful blessings of Lord Narasimha, the protector of bhakti and destroyer of negativity. The Narasimha Homa is performed by temple priests with sacred mantras and offerings for protection, peace, and spiritual strength. By sponsoring this homa, you invite divine protection for your family, remove obstacles on your spiritual path, and experience the Lord’s ferocious yet compassionate grace.

Vaikunta Ekadashi

Gateway to Lord Vishnu’s Divine Abode

Vaikuntha Ekadashi is a highly auspicious Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Vishnu, observed on the 11th lunar day of the waxing moon in the month of Margashirsha (December-January). It is believed that on this day, the sacred gates of Vaikuntha, Lord Vishnu's divine abode, are opened for devotees who observe a strict fast and engage in prayers and devotion. Devotees keep vigil throughout the night, visit Vishnu temples, recite holy scriptures, and offer tulasi leaves and sweets. The festival commemorates important events like the churning of the ocean (Samudra Manthan) where the nectar of immortality emerged, symbolizing spiritual liberation and moksha. Observing the fast on Vaikuntha Ekadashi is said to be equivalent to fasting on 23 Ekadashis, and it is believed that those who pass through the Vaikuntha Dwaram (gate) on this day attain Vaikuntha.

New Year

A Happy Beginning

As the calendar turns to 2026, devotees in Krishna consciousness welcome the New Year not through worldly revelry, but by immersing in the eternal freshness of Lord Krishna, whose divine pastimes renew the soul each moment. Begin with Mangala Aarti at the temple, chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra to cleanse the heart and invite His boundless mercy, followed by soul-stirring bhajans that fill the air with devotion. Share Krishna prasadam—sanctified food offered to the Lord—with family and the needy, embodying charity as taught in the Bhagavad Gita, while resolving to deepen sadhana through daily japa, study of scriptures, and selfless service. This sacred start transforms the year into a journey of spiritual growth, protected by Shri Krishna's flute and guided by His teachings of dharma and surrender. In ISKCON temples like Hare Krishna Golden Temple, such celebrations unite communities in gratitude, ensuring 2026 blossoms with divine love and protection.
