Cause
The cow is revered as “Go Mata”, the mother who nourishes humanity and pleases Lord Krishna. Through Gau Seva, your contribution ensures daily feeding, medical care, and comfortable shelter for the cows of the temple goshala. Serving the cow pleases Goddess Lakshmi and invites auspiciousness into your home. As the scriptures declare, “Go-brahmana-hitaya cha” — Lord Krishna is eternally pleased by those who care for cows and devotees.

About Us
At the Hare Krishna Golden Temple, our Gauseva program is inspired by the timeless teachings of Srila Prabhupada and the sacred tradition of Krishna consciousness. We believe that serving the cow, revered as Go Mata, is one of the highest forms of devotion and compassion. Our goshala currently cares for 90 sacred cows, providing them with daily nourishment, medical attention, and a safe, loving environment that honors their status as mothers and protectors of dharma. Guided by the principle that “Go-brahmana-hitaya cha,” we strive to ensure that every cow receives the best possible care—fresh grass, clean water, comfortable shelter, and regular health check-ups. Our dedicated team and volunteers work tirelessly to uphold the values of ahimsa (non-violence) and seva (selfless service), creating a sanctuary where cows are treated with the respect and affection they deserve. By supporting our Gauseva program, donors become part of a sacred mission that not only uplifts the lives of these gentle beings but also brings spiritual merit, divine blessings, and auspiciousness to their own homes. Together, we preserve an ancient Vedic heritage and foster a community rooted in compassion, sustainability, and devotion to Lord Krishna. Join us in this noble endeavor, and let your contribution help sustain the legacy of Go Mata for generations to come.
