IING - (Intinta Nitai Gauranga)
Gaura Nitai deities work in every house
Throughout the different ages (yugas)—Satya-yuga, Treta-yuga, Dvapara-yuga, and Kali-yuga—different spiritual practices have been considered the most effective means of spiritual progress.
In Satya-yuga, people had long lifespans and strong mental concentration, so meditation was the recommended practice. Individuals could remain absorbed in deep samadhi for long periods.
In Treta-yuga, elaborate fire sacrifices (yajñas) were the primary method for spiritual advancement.
During Dvapara-yuga, the most effective practice was opulent deity worship, accompanied by mantras and grand offerings.
Although these practices continue to some extent, the present age, Kali-yuga, is especially suited for chanting the holy names of the Lord, particularly the Hare Krishna maha-mantra. This is considered the most effective and recommended method of spiritual advancement in this age.
Srila Prabhupada says: “You can also establish the kirtana hall on the farm and install Gaura Nitai Deities. Gaura Nitai can be established anywhere, and it is simple to worship them simply chant before Their Lordships. He doesn’t mind that you have not decorated very nicely, but if you chant and dance He is very pleased.” (SP Letter to Madhudvisa, Melbourne, 21 April 1976)
Following the teachings of Srila Prabhupada, Nitai Gauranga can be worshipped simply by chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra.
As part of its spiritual initiatives, Hare Krishna Movement Hyderabad (HKM-Hyd) launched the "Intinta Nitai Gauranga" program, which means "Lord Nitai Gauranga in Every Home."
Through this initiative, around 250 families who are sincerely practicing Krishna consciousness have welcomed Nitai Gauranga Deities into their homes, performing daily worship and strengthening their spiritual connection.
