Rajbhog Arati (12:00 PM – 12:15 PM)
Just before noon, the kitchen offers the day's lavish rajbhog - prepared with devotion as Krishna's favorite feast - to the Deities on silver plates, covering rice, dal, vegetables, rotis, sweets like laddus and halwa, salads, and fresh juices, fulfilling the principle of anna-kutir service. The conch shell signals the start as the pujari circles all arati items clockwise before the Lord - incense for purification, ghee lamp for divine illumination, water and cloth for refreshment, flowers for beauty, and fans for comfort - amid rhythmic bell-ringing and kirtan.
Devotees experience this as a joyful family meal with Krishna, where the Deities "eat" spiritually before prasadam distribution, fostering gratitude for sustenance as divine mercy. Spiritually, Rajbhog Arati purifies the mind, removes obstacles, protects from negativity, and promotes health and prosperity by invoking Krishna's royal reciprocation, balancing the day's worship between morning austerity and evening reflection.
